    Those applying to Covenant Christian Academy must have:
    1. A demonstrable faith in and love for Jesus Christ.
    2. Abilities, subject expertise, and a continual thirst for knowledge and wisdom.
    3. A love for children.
    4. A Bachelor's degree or beyond.

    The faculty, staff and administration at CCA are a community of professionals committed to the recovery of classical learning and education,  to honest relationships, and to the improvement of our teaching and professional abilities.  We also

    manage to have a great deal of fun! 


    Hiring Procedures and Practices 

    Inquiry Process:

    1.      Individual obtains, fills-out and turns in a CCA Employment Application to the Headmaster

    2.      Individual should also include a resume, lesson plan, samples or any other materials deemed necessary for consideration.

    3.      The application is reviewed by the Headmaster and other members of the administrative team.

     

    Application Process:

    1.      If the individual is considered to be a strong applicant, the Headmaster or a designee, will check references and background information listed on the application.

    2.      The applicant is asked to come to the school for an interview and a tour of the facility.

    3.      Following the interview additional references and experiences will be checked.

     

     Candidate / Hiring Process:

    1.      If the applicant is considered to be a strong candidate for the position, they will be asked to lead a classroom lesson here at the school.

    2.      Once the candidate is chosen for hire, they will be required to complete an FBI background check, local and state criminal check and fingerprinting.

    3.      The new hire is issued a CCA Work Agreement, Financial Worksheet and a CCA Employee Handbook
