Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten
Covenant Christian Academy provides a caring, Christian environment for its students. The goals of the new Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten program mirror the mission of our K-12 program: students who love learning and who are equipped with godly character and with educational tools that will last a lifetime.
We will provide an age-appropriate curriculum and classroom activities that promote skill development and discovery learning in an environment guided by biblical principles. Our program will prepare children for their grammar school educations through a variety of classroom experiences.
Art, music and movement will encourage creativity. A variety of activities will be provided for fine and gross motor development. Listening skills, classroom etiquette and self-control will be increased through teacher-led activities. Imaginative playtimes will provide the opportunity to encourage biblical social skills.
The 3-year old Pre-School class will meet two days per week, and the 4-year old Pre-Kindergarten will meet three days per week. Both classes are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. The addition of a full-day, five-day class is being considered.
