Grammar School Girls

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE*
    CCA is phasing out the use of hunter green shirts and sweaters in the uniform list by September 2010.  Students will be allowed to wear hunter green items during the 2009-2010 year but not in the following school years.

     

     

    “CCA Best” Dress Uniform

    1.   Plaid Jumper: FOH Style #94, Plaid #45

    2.   Long-sleeved woven Peter Pan Blouse: FOH or LE #30614 or #30615 (cannot be LE ruffled collar)

    3.   White knee socks

    4.   Dress shoes (black, brown, tan or navy)

     

    Fitness Apparel

    1.   Navy twill sport shorts: LE #07850

    2.   Any CCA uniform shirt

    3.   Sneakers

     

    Daily Wear Options

    1.   Long or short sleeved white knit Peter Pan blouse (no ruffled collars)

    2.   Long or short sleeved white oxford shirt

    3.   Regular or mock turtleneck shirts in white, navy or hunter green*

    4.   Long or short sleeved cotton polo shirts in white, navy or hunter green*

    5.  White, navy or hunter green* knee socks 

    6.   White, navy or hunter green* crew socks 

    7.   White, navy, or hunter green* tights 

    8.   Navy or hunter green* cardigan sweater FOH (Current LE styles do not meet uniform requirements. Older style LE cardigans may still be worn).

    9.   CCA logo embroidered fleece (KS or LE #31536, 18872, 18873, classic navy half- or full-zip jacket or  full-zip vest)

    10.  Navy or black bike shorts (from any source), under jumper for modesty.

    11.  Navy, black or hunter green* legging-type pants (from any source), under jumper in cold weather; may not be baggy, drag on the ground, have bell-bottoms, or have any stripes/insignias. LE flare yoga pants are acceptable.

    12.  Sneakers

    13.  Short leather boots designed for cold weather may be worn with leggings from 11/1-4/1. These may not be rubber snow boots, hiking boots, fashion boots, or work boots.

    14.  On extremely hot days, girls may be allowed to remove jumpers during recess only if wearing the approved fitness shorts (navy twills).

    15.  On CCA Spirit Days any CCA t-shirt may be worn over the jumper in lieu of a uniform shirt under the jumper.

    16.  Grammar school girls’ jumpers have a drop waist and the skirt should touch the knee at the beginning of the school year. We understand there may be growth and that toward the end of the year the jumper could be slightly above the knee. If your daughter experiences very rapid growth, it may be necessary to replace the jumper during the year.
