All uniform items should be labeled with the student’s name.
Shirts must be worn tucked into the skirt or pants in such a way that the belt or waistband is visible. The girls' 3/4 sleeve camp shirt for Dialectic and Rhetoric school, recess and fitness classes are exceptions.
Shirts may have, at most, the top button left unfastened.
Undershirts: Students who wish to wear t-shirts under uniform shirts for warmth may do so provided they are a solid, approved uniform color. Only white t-shirts may be worn under white uniform shirts. No tie-dies or printed t-shirts may be worn under uniform shirts.
Students may not wear non-uniform sweaters, sweatshirts or jackets in their classrooms but may wear them during recess.
CCA logo embroidered fleece may only be worn over a uniform shirt for warmth in the classroom.
"Spirit Wear" items and "sport uniforms" may only be worn with permission from the administration.
If a uniform item has belt loops, it is to be worn with a belt. Kindergarten through second grade boys are exempt from this guideline.
All socks must be solid, approved colors and free of conspicuous insignias or designs.
Shoes must be totally enclosed: no clogs, boots (see exception for grammar school), sandals, or open toes. No light-up shoes or “heelies”.
Uniform items should be worn in clean and repaired condition. Please be diligent about repairing clothing.
“CCA Best” represents the basic uniform and may be worn everyday. Parents need only buy items listed under CCA Best and Fitness to meet school requirements. However, for convenience and comfort, parents may elect to purchase any of the daily wear items.
CCA Best and colored daily wear option items must be purchased from FOH, HC or LE; white items in the daily wear list can be purchased from any source. For * items, see Uniform color note below.
On pre-announced CCA Spirit Days, students may wear any CCA t-shirt in place of the uniform shirt.
