    Grades 7 – 12

     

    Students are expected to be organized and prepared for class using whatever system works best for them individually. The following list is a place to start.

    ·      book covers: stretch style; large; at least 5; CCA-owned textbooks must be covered by the student

    ·      archive binder

    ·      binder OR zippered, accordion file system

    ·      paper: lined filler paper

    ·      paper: 1 spiral notebook per academic subject (or 1 section in a multi-subject notebook per academic subject)

    Grade 6

    ·      paper: 1 ream, 3 hole punched, wide margin

    ·      pencils: 6 red

    ·      colored pencils: set of 12

    ·      ruler, compass, and protractor to be kept at home for Math homework

    ·      Veritas cards on a ring OR kept in a zippered pouch

     

    Grade 5

    ·      archive binder

    ·      small bottle liquid glue (Elmers type)

    ·      highlighters: yellow only

    ·      index cards: 4x6 and 3x5

    ·      markers: fine point – minimum of 8 colors

    ·      math book cover 8x10 (extra large)

    ·      paper: 1 ream, 3 hole punched, wide margin

    ·      pens: blue or black ball point

    ·      pencils: No.2

    ·      colored pencils: set of 12

    ·       pencil sharpener: small handheld with shaving catcher attached

    ·       several whiteboard markers (wide tip) 

    ·      poster board: 3 pieces of 14" x 22", any color

    ·      whiteout (optional but permitted)

    Grade 4

    ·      math book cover: extra large size

    ·      paper: 3 reams, 3 hole punched, wide ruled only

    ·      pencils: No. 2, 1 pack per quarter

    ·      pencil or pen, red

    ·      pens: 2 blue or black ball point, not heavy enough to show through the paper, not erasable

    ·      colored pencils: 2 separate sets of 12 (one for coloring, the other for Precepts Bible class) 

    ·      pencil sharpener: small handheld with shaving catcher attached

    ·      ruler, compass and protractor to be kept at home for math homework

    Grade 3

    Grade 1

    ·      crayons: twistable are great, no more than 24

    1.       ·      Coins – 4 quarters, 10 dimes, 10 nickels, 10 pennies sent in a plastic bag or film cannister

      Kindergarten

    ·      archive binder

    ·      crayons: 24  pack only -  Please keep the following colors at home:

                                                 scarlet, green yellow, gray, dandelion, apricot, cerulean, violet red and indigo. 

    ·      erasers: pencil top and 1 white "Magic Rub"

    ·      folders: PLAIN (no designs or pictures) with pockets, no clasps

                      Girls: one plain purple  

            •                   Boys: one plain green

     

    ·      glue sticks: (6-8)

    ·      pencils: No.2 yellow – set of 12 and 1 red pencil 

    ·      pencil pouches: a regular zipper pouch with 3 holes to be kept in a binder, no zip-lock style, please.
