Overview of the Application Process

     Seeking a Match

No doubt you are looking for a school that fits well with your convictions, values, standards and hopes.  In the same way, we are looking for families that fit well with our mission, educational philosophy, convictions and standards.  We often tell prospective parents that we are looking for families who are looking for us.  The process of researching, visiting and applying to CCA is a means by which both of us can determine if we are a good match for one another.  There are several steps we recommend parents take as part of making application to CCA:

     1. Review the contents of this website.

     2. Obtain the 2010 - 2011 Information Packet. (Click to download)

The application forms are included in this packet.  In addition to this downloadable resource you may contact our office to request two booklets and a brochure that will further explain classical Christian education, in general, and CCA, more specifically.

     3. Schedule a tour of the school and a meeting with the Headmaster or Principal.

We can usually accommodate parents in any given week.  You are welcome to bring your children with you.  During this time you will able to observe several classes and talk with our teaching staff.

     4. Attend an Open House.

A chance to visit our campus, see examples of student work, curriculum and converse with administrators, board members or faculty members.

     5. Submit your completed application.

You will need to submit an application for each child applying.  There is a $200 application fee (per family). As part of the application process, you will also be asked to read the booklet Discover Classical Christian Education: A Guide for Parents as well as the CCA Mission Statement, Core Values and Statement of Faith.  Please contact the school office if you need one of these resources.

     6. Schedule a Family Interview.

To complete your application, you and your children will be scheduled to interview with one or two administrators or board members.  The interview usually lasts about an hour. A decision on your acceptance will be communicated to you within the week
